Sod Installation in Douglasville, GA
A finished lawn the same day instead of a whole season of watching seed wash down the driveway.
Sod Installation — what it is
Sod is the fastest way to fix a bare, patchy or eroding yard. We strip what's there, grade it flat, prep the soil and lay the rolls tight so you don't get seams opening up two weeks later.
Grass type matters here. Bermuda and Zoysia are what most Douglasville yards want in full sun; fescue only makes sense in real shade. We'll tell you straight which one your yard can actually keep alive.
Every sod job is measured on site so you're not paying for pallets you don't need.

Questions about sod installation
How soon can I walk on new sod?
Keep off it for about two weeks other than watering. Light foot traffic is fine after that; full use around week three or four once it's rooted.
How much do I need to water it?
Daily for the first two weeks, enough to keep the soil under the sod damp — usually 20 to 30 minutes per zone in the morning. Then taper off.
What's the best time of year to lay sod in Georgia?
Bermuda and Zoysia do best from late spring through summer while they're actively growing. Fescue goes down in fall.
