Yards that actually get used
Anneewakee Trails is full of families, and it shows in the backyards. Playsets, trampolines, swing sets, dog runs, and worn traffic paths from the back door to the gate. That's a real maintenance condition, not a complaint — but it changes the job. Turf under constant foot traffic compacts faster, thins out along the paths, and needs to be mowed around obstacles rather than in clean straight passes.
We trim carefully around playsets and trampolines rather than mowing up to them and calling it done, because that ring of tall grass around a swing set is what makes a whole backyard look neglected. If the trampoline can be shifted, we shift it and put it back. And we pull cores in the compacted traffic lanes, since that's where the turf gives out first.
Bermuda that wants to be pushed
Most front yards here are Bermuda in decent sun, which is good news: Bermuda is the most forgiving grass in Georgia when it's cut correctly and the least forgiving when it isn't. Cut it weekly at a consistent low height and it spreads sideways, fills bare spots on its own, and gets thick enough to crowd out most of what would otherwise move in. Cut it every two weeks and you're scalping it every time, which does the exact opposite.
This is where the weekly-only policy earns itself. In peak growth a Bermuda lawn in Douglasville can put on well over an inch a week. Skipping a cut means removing more than a third of the blade next time, which stresses the plant and leaves clumps sitting on the surface. There's no version of biweekly that produces a good-looking Bermuda lawn in July.
The neighbor effect

Will you mow around a trampoline and playset?
We trim around them carefully, and if the trampoline can be moved safely we'll shift it and put it back where it was.
The path from my back door is worn down to dirt. Can that be fixed?
Partly. Aeration plus correct mow height helps a lot, and for genuinely bare traffic lanes we can quote sod.
Do you offer anything if my neighbor refers me?
Tell us who sent you. Clustered homes on one street are cheaper for us to service and that shows up in your quote.
