How wide should a front walkway be?
Three to four feet lets two people walk side by side. Anything narrower feels tight coming up to a front door.
Will the pavers shift or sink?
Not when the base is right. We excavate, compact gravel, screed sand and lock the edges — that's what keeps it flat through freeze and rain.
Pavers or natural stone?
Pavers are uniform, faster to install and cheaper per square foot. Flagstone looks more custom and costs more. Both hold up fine here.
